anyone seen a collector or crafter for +5 sword or axe? i'm sure they're there.

+5 energy sword you mean? If you are waiting to find a collector for that, you'll pretty much be waiting forever. They nerfed that sword for a good reason.

There is a crafter after the last mission for those weapons. Also +5 Bows. 10p and some resources each.
